Presenter Registration

Please note that all presenters are required to register for the full conference programme and pay the conference registration fee in full.
There are different presenter registration options:

Option 1: 275€ (No accommodation)

The fee includes access to all sessions, conference pack, certificate of attendance and presentation, lunch and refreshments during the day programme, welcome cocktail, five-star gala dinner, and the publication of paper manuscripts in supporting journals. Trips and sightseeing are not included in the fee.

Option 2: 385€ (With double room accommodation)

The fee includes an all-inclusive three-day accommodation (based on two sharing a double room) at the conference hotel (Palm Wings Ephesus Hotel), access to all sessions, conference pack, certificate of attendance and presentation, welcome cocktail, five-star gala dinner, and the publication of paper manuscripts in supporting journals. Trips and sightseeing are not included in the fee.
Please clearly indicate while registering who you would like to share your room with or your intention and preferences for a blind pairing in a double room. 

Option 3: 466€ (With single room accommodation)

The fee includes an all-inclusive three-day accommodation (based on a single occupancy) at the conference hotel (Palm Wings Ephesus Hotel), access to all sessions, conference pack, certificate of attendance and presentation, welcome cocktail, and the publication of paper manuscripts in supporting journals. Trips and sightseeing are not included in the fee.

Option 4: 250€ (Virtual Presentations)

The fee includes online access to all broadcasted sessions, certificate of attendance and presentation, and the publication of paper manuscripts in supporting journals.

Extra Papers: 100€ each

Authors with additional paper(s) are required to pay a cost share of 100€ for the inclusion of their extra paper in the programme and their publication.

Cancellation Policy of the Registration

All the cancellations and changes must be sent to Bilkon Turizm Ltd. in written form. All refunds will be processed after the conference. Please send your exact bank account details in the written cancellation, unless you paid by credit card.

Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:

100% refund: in case of cancellation received before March 20, 2017
No refund: in case of cancellation, received after March 20, 2017

or by major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard) to be arranged during the secure online registration. A pro forma invoice should be generated (pdf) in order to arrange any payment, wire transfer or credit card. The paid amount should appear in the paid coloumn in case of successful online payment. Manual card charges and bank wire transfers are to be credited in your "Paid" coloumn only after receipt payment.

Official final invoices and receipts for fees paid by the participants will be handed over on site at the registration desk. Bilkon Turizm Ltd. is responsible for collection of all charges; hence all financial issues are handled and confirmed by the congress bureau.

On site registration fees and optional programmes can be paid in Euro. Besides, credit cards listed above will be accepted. The organisers regret that cheques cannot be accepted, they should be cashed at the banks.


Further Registration Information and Guidelines

  • If a presentation has more than one author, at least one author must register within 2 weeks after notification to be included into the programme.
  • As there are limited presentation slots, GlobELT 2017 will be able to host a MAXIMUM of THREE papers by the same presenter’s name.
  • Please note that we are UNABLE to accept on-site registration for presenters and we cannot include unregistered papers in the programme.
  • Please also note that we are UNABLE to issue certificates of attendance and presentation for unregistered presenters.
  • Our places for free attendance and accommodation at our joint conference entitled “The International Conference on Teaching Languages to Young Learners” (16-18 May, 2017) are limited to the first 100 FULLY registered INTERNATIONAL participants of the GlobELT 2017 Conference and are subject to availability. GlobELT Conference organization committee reserves the right to make changes with conditions of attendance and accommodation as per funding allocations. Please also make sure to tick the relevant box on our online registration page to confirm your desire to attend both conferences.
  • When you make the payment, please scan the payment receipt and email it to us at kongre@bilkonturizm.com.tr by indicating your paper ID number(s).
  • A refund of registration and/or conference fee is possible for presentations only until March 20, 2017 when the conference programme is due to be finalized and final reservations are confirmed with the conference hotel.
  • We regret to inform that it is not possible for us to refund conference fees after March 20, 2017.

Publication of Papers

We truly hope to provide a far-reaching outlet for our participants' work. We are pleased to announce that we have already published GlobELT conference proceedings in Elsevier's Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences - SBSPRO (ISSN: 1877-0428). The content of the GlobELT 2015 conference is available at  http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/18770428/199 while the GlobELT 2016 is accessible at http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/18770428/232. For the GlobELT 2017, however, we have decided to take a different route for the publication of GlobELT papers as Elsevier HAS CEASED accepting new proposals for Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences - SBSPRO. Alternatively, for the GlobELT 2017, we have contracted with four journals that are prepared to publish manuscripts emerging from the conference after a review process. International Online Journal of Education and Teaching-IOJET (http://iojet.org), Eurasian Journal of Applied Linguistics-EJAL (http://ejal.eu), International Journal of Curriculum and Instruction- (IJCI) (http://ijci.wcci-international.org/index.php/IJCI) and Novitas-ROYAL (Research on Youth and Language) (http://www.novitasroyal.org/)  will give priority to the review of papers from GlobELT and publish a special GlobELT issue in Autumn 2017.  All of the journals are indexed in international indices.

Manuscript Preparation & Submission

Our presenters are expected to submit their manuscript(s) in the required format of EITHER journal. When submitting your manuscript please REMEMBER to identify yourself as a GlobELT author and the paper as a GlobELT manuscript in a separate e-mail message to the editor(s).
